Sabiha Gokcen Airport Expansion Project to Start Soon |

The management of the International Terminal at the Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Kurtkoy has been officially transferred to the Sabiha Gokcen International Investment Company that will be handling the expansion of the airport. Sabiha Gokcen is located on the Asian side of Istanbul and is in very close proximity to the F1 race circuit in Akfirat. Both Kurtkoy and Akfirat regions have been expanding very rapidly since the opening of the airport. |

Statistics on the Change of Property Ownership in Turkey |

Due to the economic and political instability over the past year, the number of total changes in property ownership in Turkey decreased by 868,000 in 2007 in comparison to 2006. However in Istanbul, the same number increased by 20%. The number of sales in Istanbul over 2006 was 362,400 and this number increased to 453,000 over 2007. |
