Amplio, a company growing rapidly and founded on May 2007 for hotel investments in Turkey, has made its 2007 consequences and 2008 goals evaluation meeting at the Feriye Restaurant. Amplio’s chairman Alaeddin Babaoglu said, they’ve setted out for absolute hotel investments on every 81 provinces of Turkey.

Acteeum Group Launches "Ancora Samsun" PDF Print E-mail

Acteeum Group, a privately-owned real estate development and asset management company, over the weekend launched “Ancora Samsun,” its first project in Turkey, which includes a five-star hotel and a shopping center. The company announced details of the project at a press conference in Samsun, a Black Sea city 415 kilometers north of Ankara, over the weekend.

Ritz Istanbul Awarded the Best Employer PDF Print E-mail

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Istanbul has been named the best employer in Turkey for 2007. The award is based on a study conducted by the global human resources services firm Hewitt Associates in conjunction with the Wall Street Journal Europe. The others chosen in order of rank were Schering – Plough, DHL, Microsoft and Er-Bakır.

Indian Hotel Chains Set Their Eyes on Turkey PDF Print E-mail

India based hotel chain, Berggruen Hotels is marking a presence in the international market by building its budget brand Keys and the soon to be launched upscale brand in this region. The group also plans to develop properties in Egypt, Turkey, Morocco and the UAE and aims to start construction of 1,000 rooms to have 3,000 rooms by 2012 in these markets alone.

HSBC Building in Istanbul to be Converted into a Hotel PDF Print E-mail

The Istanbul building known as the HSBC building in Levent that was bombed back in 2003 is acquired by Azarbaijan born businessman Mansimov and the building will be converted into a 5 start hotel that will primarily target business travelers.
