Soyak to Build Two New Shopping Centers in Adana |

Soyak, in partnership with Tahincioglu Holding, has recently started developing two shopping centers in Adana and the company is planning to comlete both centers by 2010. One center is located in the north part of Adana and is planned to have 140,000 sqm of leaseable space. The other center, located in the east part of Adana will have 25,000 sqm of leaseable space.
Both Soyak and Tahincioglu are looking into these retail investments as a long-term investment and together they are planning to extend the scale of their investments to 1 million sqm of leaseable area within 5 years. Emre Camlibel, an executive of the joint venture, said that these investments is Adana will also help the city in terms of economic and social terms. Other than Adana, the joint venture is planning to start a 40,000 sqm project in Hatay and extend their operations to other Anatolian cities in the short-term. Potential cities include Denizli, Gaziantep, Bursa, Eskisehir and Antalya. |
