Governership of Sisli yesterday announced that 14 restaurants operating in Nisantasi’s new shopping center, City’s will be closed due to operating without the necessary alcohol serving permits. The shopping center, now home to some of world’s well-known brands is located in close proximity to some schools in the district which legally does not allow the local government to issue alcohol permits to the restaurants in the shopping center.

14 different restaurants and cafes in the center have already been served the necessary legal notices. 14 spots include It's A Joke, Grey L'Entrecote de Paris, Clementine, Incontro di Pastarito, Celadon, Venge Plus, Cook Shop, Barcode, Good Life by Davidoff Cognac, Cafe Crown and 10 Dieci among a few others. The owners of these locations held a meeting yesterday to decide on what steps to take at this point. They also said that before securing these spaces in the shopping mall, they were informed by the mall management that the necessary permits will issued along the way, which eventually never happened.
