Aksigorta, a subsidiary of the Sabanci Group has announced today that they had reached an agreement with Apollo European Real Estate Advisors for an investment of 13 million Euros into their Shopping Center project in Merter.

According to the anouncement, Aksigorta became a 25% partner of the Holland based Merter B.V., the company that owns 50% of the project. The project is planned to be finished within two years and it will be one of the largest and most important shopping centers in Turkey.  The plot and the project feasibility studies for the center were acquired from Carrefour back in January of 2008.
